Honestly I really think the Wizards make the most sense but wont go home. Wall Durant Beal Gortat could sleep walk to the Eastern Conference Finals pretty much every year.
I mean that m sure ainge won't turn down Durant but he's not the best fit IMHO.!the player they really really want is boogie. You put boogie on the Celtics and they are in the finals next year no questions asked.

I don't see it. If durant leaves OKC, it's because he knows he can't compete with the Spurriors in the west. And Durant/Harden in Houston is less a threat to the Spurriors than OKC is now.
If he leaves, it will be to either the Spurs, Warriors, or more likely, go east to a team like the Wizards or Celtics to avoid the Spurriors all together until the finals.

I don't think he will go to the Spurs either. But Spurs will make a run at him.
I don't think your percentages are correct. Especially if Spurs continue to blow them out. It is tough seeming him stay in that situation. Even thUnder writers are leaning towards him leaving.

Is this a rumor going around now? Cause it makes no sense. The Spurs don't have the cap space or even the need. They already have Leonard playing SF and Aldridge at PF, who would slide somewhere else? If this is Duncan's last year, they will have to fill that front court spot (P. Gasol) first. They really don't need to add anything more after that. Other than filling out the roster. I just don't see them as a possibility..

It's a lot more likely he takes a one year contract in OKC to get one more year with russ and the whole cap situation than any other scenario

It's not really a rumor. The spurs publicly made a statement that they would pursue Durant. Usually they don't do that unless they know they have a chance.
Even as a hardcore spurs fan, I know it is a very slim chance. And I don't know how it would work with Kawhi in the lineup. I of course would rather have Kawhi leading the team than KD. He is such a force on defense.

Durant isn't going to the Sours because they don't have the cap room. Spurs have $84.5 million tied up next year and even if Duncan and Ginobili retire that only frees up $8.5 million. That puts them at $76 million and the cap is projected to be at $89 million next year. So unless you believe that Durant is going to take a 35% paycut from this year to be on a team that will consistent of him, Kawhi, LMA, Parker, Green, and Land Walrus and a few bags of potato chips, then no he's not going there.
The Warriors can make it happen if they dump Bogut and Livingston, but they would still have to resign Ezeli, Speights, and probably another one of their rotation players.
The Wizards only have $50 million in cap obligations next year but that's before resigning Beal and even with him they'll only have 6 rotation players signed up and that's before you drop $22 million plus for Durant. They could make it work, but Durant and Beal would have to take about 90% of their market value and I don't exactly see a core of Wall, Beal, and Durant beating a core of Curry/Klay/Green or Kawhi/LMA/Parker next year or even the following year.
