In/within the next decade or so.
Just curious.

Hopefully to the Big 12.
Notre Dame needs to get in that god damn conference.
It will still suck for a little while longer, but eventually it will get better. Every conference has its ups and downs.

Don't show up for the big game, and you might think this but I don't see anything that convinces me that osu is a top 10 team.

Basically up until last year it has been the big two and little 8. Yea I know about Penn State. But until the lower teir teams step up then it will stay like it is.

Somewhat the same as now, with OSU the best in-state talent pool, then PSU, then Mich with some in-state, and the three best platforms to recruit nationally of the Big-10 schools..
Then maybe Wisc, MSU, Ill, Minn, or Iowa..
Indiana, NW, and Purdue, are tough platforms for success in today's NCAA Football.

It'll make a comeback to being respectable in a few years. Every conference will have its ups and downs. The SEC will have to come down at some point fwiw.

i see it staying the same as it currently is. decent.

The Big Ten really needs a strong Illinois, Mich. St, and PSU to challenge OSU and Michigan(despite their troubles) to be a total competitive conference and not elite in name only. PSU presently is just a gimmick living off of a legend and easy schedules.

fail.
why?
as long as the sec and usc for that matter, continue to get top rated recruits with the alure of beautiful women and nice weather, these schools will continue to stay on top of the college football ladder.

Whats the deal with the sig?????

Last year was the low point for the conference. They will continue to get better every year. I'd say within 5 years they'll win a MNC.
Sure it's easy to laugh at this, but I think the biggest weaknesses that were apparent was the type of players they had (big and bulky) and the coaches they had. I will say Dantonio (Mich St) and Fitzgerald (Northwestern) are amazing coaches, and I'd put them against any others in the country. It's things like that which will build everything back up.
I think a big thing for them is to stop sending two BCS reps during down years because it just fricks over the rest of the conference's bowl matchups, but It's all about the $$$.

I agree with this.
