The rockets are trash. Nobody is ever going to win a championship with harden....unless he joins the warriors too

Game 2 was a must win game. They responded with probably their best game of the year.
They'll need that again. On the road. Versus a hydra of a team that is fully invested in making a statement against them.
It's gonna be a barnburner.

They HAVE to win at least one more game.
Otherwise they're finna catch it from Spurfan and Pelfan.
You know it. I know it. America knows it

Do you think the pressure gets to them? Choking is what Harden and CP3 have been known for in the past when it comes to the playoffs

I think it's the more detailed defensive game plans and the fact that teams play harder on D in the postseason.

Yesterday in the first half the ball just wasn't going into the basket. At the half, I felt ok that the Rockets could get back into it. They just didn't make shots all game. You can't beat GS EVER if you don't shoot pretty well

I think the pressure gets to Harden. He's been great so far, but you know he usually has 1 or 2 stinker games in any given series, usually when the pressure ratchets up (see: 2017 Western Conference Semis, Game 6, Houston, TX, USA).
CP3 will be fine. He gets shite for not getting over the hump, but in his case, it's usually just running into a better team, not due specifically to him stinking up the joint.

That's the thing. Houston CAN beat GSW. But they have to play near-perfect 4 games out of 7 (well now 3 games out of 4), against a great defensive team that is now familiar with their pace/capabilities, AND is an even better shooting team when they're on than houston is.
Stranger things have happened, and who knows, maybe Coach Pringles has a new wrinkle to throw in a series for once in his life, but all things equal, it's asking for a lot for houston to pull this off.
Their best bet is to win ugly in game 4 and hope the pressure starts to get to GS back in TX for game 5.

D Antoni's history of postseason blunders is ignored by some but the guy acts like he's never coached in the postseason. Letting Harden get worked on D. Not playing Harden/CP3 enough to go along with his piss poor offensive game plan.

I don't understand him, man. His system is solid. That much is obvious. But he coaches as if the defensive pressure/natural familiarity that's fostered over the course of a series is non-existent/isn't a factor. His better teams can always use talent to get through rd 1 and sometimes rd 2, but after that it's like he hits a coaching wall--all his cards are on the table. Then once a team with the personnel to make adjustments does so, it's a wrap on the big stage. Every time.
Hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but he's gotta show some actual coaching chops here. It's not like he doesn't have the personnel to successfully challenge GS.

These conference finals have been a joke. Think they said it's the first time ever none of the first 6 games have been decided by less than 10 points.
