In all fairness, he hurt his shoulder. Doesn’t change the fact that he sucks arse at the plate right now. Just pointing that out for argument’s sake.

They should've pitched to him rather than intentional walk loading the bases.
I thought so too but he is also one of the most clutch hitters I’ve ever seen. Dude usually comes through when they need it.

This place is losing its touch.
How has no one made a “small Asian dong” joke yet?

When does Ohtani being the most talented baseball player ever start getting talked about?
6 shutout innings, 2 hitter, 10 k’s. O yea, he hits 3 DONGS. One of them being the 3rd longest in dodger history.

I know. Just more of a good reason to bump this thread.
He’s got to have the longevity but he’s already a better pitcher than Babe was. And Babe was a good pitcher for a few years before he was a great hitter. Ohtani is great at both at the same time, something babe didn’t do.

Do you wake up intending to have the dumbest takes or do you just post your bad ones here?

Ohtani is still batting under .200 this postseason. This isn't an overreaction

2025 playoff resume despite going through a slump.
.220 batting average, 5 HRs, 9 rbi.
2 Ws on the mound, 2.25 era, 19ks.
NLCS MVP.
Appreciate the greatness of GOHTANI!

Bonds used to stink it up in postseason play until around that Angels world series and he started orbiting nukes. I’m sure it will click for Ohtani soon
Nice job
