I honestly don't see the problem with you being allowed to post under GCA.

Not when you factor in how and why he got those buckets.

But I'm also not a slave to stats.

No he won't. He has 3 years, $60m left under contract. They can amnesty him, but that's not a "take it or leave it" proposition for Wade. If they amnesty him, he can't re-sign with the Heat (for a least a year I believe).

I disagree. They need to add pieces and will need money. He does not deserve that money.

He doesn't have the jump shot to compensate for his diminished athleticism.

He's more than likely done as an elite player.

Amnestying him only saves the team money (a shitload). They'll still be over the cap even if they amnesty him, so they'd be limited to exceptions that they can still use even if they decide to keep him. And again, he can't willingly take a paycut. They either amnesty him and he's done with the Heat, or they keep him.

i think an NBA once tried to take a paycut to help the team and the NBAPA was like "no"

So is everyone that plays with someone elite not elite?

Scottie played with michael.

A bunch of guys played with Magic?

I guess those guys aren't very good then.

Did James worthy carry a team?

Did Scottie Pippen? He didn't win anything when Jordan left.

Elite to me means he can single-handedly win a game for you. Wade isn't at that level in my opinion.

So he had the passion when he was super efficient in the regular season and lost the passion once the playoffs started?

He didnt seem very passionate about the sport during the reg season to me dude.

idk, It is hard for me to totally buy the injury excuse, because at times, he turns it up and looks like his old self. maybe he just needs more knee injections, idk

It doesn't. Well it may if it puts them under the tax threshold. Apparently the tax is something like 1.25 for every dollar over.

So theoretically it could.

I don't think it's who he plays with, it's the fact he isn't getting to the rim at near the clip he was once 2-4 years ago.

Maybe it's injury but frequent injuries can also be a sign of decline
