More or less. He has been a top 5 player since his second yr in CC.

Nowhere near deserving of "biggest improvement ever" talk that shows Barkley really doesn't keep up with the league.

I'll ask you again, Would you say Lebron had "good management" who developed him a super team in his 1st 7 years in CLE?

Safe to say Buford would trade harden for Leonard in a heartbeat if morey would do the deal.

See how easy it is to make up a "safe to say". Try again Bubba you aren't too good at this.

Not at all, awful management, but he could've gone anywhere, teamed up with another good player to form a duo, not have a BIG 3 parade with 3 top 5 players

So he peaked at 22? Odd

Or did he not get better for the past 5 seasons but he'll magically get better eventually?

You're not dealing with a rational individual.

Imagine if you were in his shoes. He has been a rockets fan for decades, and has watched their average level of success get completely overshadowed by their big brothers 3 hours down I10, who have won titles, awards, and won games at a pace that hasn't been seen in any professional sport for decades. Just look at the insecurity...

To be fair to Lebron his first stint with the Cavs those teams were not very good.

Also people forget it was more difficult for players to switch team in the Jordan era.

From what I have read about Leonard, the Spurs defense is not doing as well with him on the court this season because teams are taking the man he is guarding out the of the play and going 4 vs 4 basically. That show how good of a defender he is that you chance going 4 on 4 to get him out of the play.

That does not take away from how good of a player he is.

I am sure some GMs would take Harden and some would take Leonard. Depends on what you are going for.

So why would he go to a team that gave him LESS of a chance of winning a title?

Isn't winning the end game, all that matters?

What you're saying literally makes no sense. Hey Lebron, don't go to the team that gives you the best chance to win a title, go to that other team where you're half as likely to win. What, why?

Okay, I'll try again. I found at least one GM who would take Leonard over Harden, for a fact. Can you find me one GM that would take Harden over Leonard?

I would like factual proof, please. As you know, it's easy to do the "safe to say" game.

I'll do the waiting this time.

I don't live in HOU and never have so I've never had a rivalry with SA or their team or their fans. Sorry bro. Good try but par for the course for you. I.e. Not knowing what the hell you talking about.

You're not allowed to delve deeper into the numbers if the initial ones make AC look bad.

You know how this works

I understand where youre coming from, it may have been the best choice for him, but as a fan I just don't find excitement in buying your way to championships, and it's just less impressive on his part in the long run

For example, I love AD but I'd lose a shite ton of respect for him if he went to an overpowered team just to win, like the Durant situation

ETA: Just to be clear, I do not agree with all the stuff Boom is saying, i have a separate stance, he's saying some dumb stuff right now

When discussing him on a scale of biggest improvement ever:

He's pretty much the same player compared to the improvements other players have shown.

Idiot.

They were maybe contenders to win the east. Not the whole thing

I think you are misunderstanding the meaning of "contenders"?

The Bulls were 2 games out of 1st place in the East without Jordan( a 3-7 Bulls stretch with an injured Pippen cost them 1st place in the East that season ).

No one is saying they would have definitely beaten the Rockets ( cant take anything from a champion),but they nearly " contended" for another Championship.

No one is saying the Bulls were " favorites" to win it all ,but they were serious "contenders"( even with Pete Myers replacing Jordan).

The "right now" wasn't really necessary.

Actually once you mention "Boom saying", the "dumb stuff" is already implied as well.
