Prove that more than one GM would take him over harden. I'll wait.

How often do you and Lebron speak?

Also, LeBron needed the best three point shooter of all time
For 1 of his 3 rings

Jordan's team was developed into a "super team" by good management and over time became dominant, while LeBron sold himself in packages to get championships
So we can admit both players needed good help surrounding them to win titles. But it was okay for MJ because his management got him the players. Bad on Lebron because he had to get the players himself. Got it.
There's no legitimate logic for why the different means of obtaining help change the perception of how we view a player, other than finding a way to somehow introduce your own personal bias of the players.

Draymond is DPOY this year. Leonards team is better on d when he's on the bench.

You really don't see a difference?
quote:ok. Free agents found new teams, like they've done since the dawn of free agency.
LeBron's two switches of teams have involved a package of somehow getting a big 3, and yes LeBron knew Love and Bosh were going with him otherwise he wouldn't have agreed
quote:Ok. So we ding only Lebron but not the other greats who had older vets sign with their teams. Gotcha!!
Also, LeBron needed the best three point shooter of all time along with 3 top 5 2003 draft picks (arguably best draft class ever) to win a ship, and hes doing the same exact thing with Korver this year
quote:Would you say Lebron had "good management" who developed him a super team in his 1st 7 years in CLE?
Jordan's team was developed into a "super team" by good management

Jordan created a championship culture.
Lebron had to leave to find one with Riley and Wade.

Wouldn't want you waiting too long
2016-2017 NBA GM Survey

If you were starting a franchise today and could sign any player in the NBA, who would it be?
Also receiving votes:
Kawhi Leonard
No votes- James Harden

Did MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Grant all just join the Bulls to make a super team one year? No, First MJ, then Horace was drafted by them and developed, and they traded for Pippen, and they also trades for Rodman
In LeBron's case, it was never a trade that helped his team be good, it was him joining along with other superstars in free agency
The Bulls were similar to the warriors (before Durant ruined it) becuase they both built up their own teams through chemistry, not chasing rings through teaming up with superstars

Your bias blinds you. I happen to know a lot of basketball coaches on the high school and college level since that was my former profession. Leonard's name always come up in conversations. Hardens rarely. Basketball people see Leonard's value. Hell Barkley and Shaq were saying he's the second best player in the world the other night. I think Durant is better but I understand their argument.

Correction: That's at least one. And you can't vote for your own guys, so safe to say Spurs GM would do the same. No votes for Harden, though.
The burden of proof is on us to find hard evidence that multiple GM's that would take Leonard over Harden, but you don't have to find a single one that would take Harden over Leonard?
Actually, seeing the strength of your arguments and points of view, it might be fair to handicap this one for you.

Jordan made pippen. Took him Under his wing.

What would the championship culture had looked like if CHI drafted a bust instead of Scottie Pippen?

High school and college coaches don't mean shite. College coaches are much too busy to be anything more than casual fans of NBA. Barkley and Shaq are merely casual fans too. Barkley said he has never seen a player make as much of an improvement as harden has.
that's the dumbest shite I've read. Clearly he doesnt watch. Harden is the same player he has been the last few years. He just has a better system and better shooters surrounding him. It's not like he was only the fourth player in league history to put up 29/7/6 last year.

You just see it another way than me i guess, I think there's obviously a huge difference between superstars getting together to join a team all in the same offseason rather than a team with one superstar building up a dynasty
The Cavs/Heat dynastys were made through buying championships, while the Bulls were built through chemistry
Posted on 1/25/17 at 12:29 pm to shel311
Jordan would've made do with what he had and won titles. That's why he is GOAT.

That's a red flag if I ever seen one.
