He hasn't been right for a while now. Got tore up again today.

Some say his shoulder, some say he had a stomach bug every time he has a bad start. Dude has been getting the stomach bug a lot lately if that's the case
I think that strange release of his and throwing the ball 97 mph is finally catching up to those tissues in his shoulder

Velo is way down. IMO his crazy arse mechanics are starting to take a toll on his body the same way they did with Lincecum but that’s just my theory

It's April. He's fine.
He wasn't very good last half of last year and the playoffs either.

Someone told him they'd be wearing throw backs this season.

It is a miracle he has lasted this long w/o a major arm injury.

Same issue as Michael Wacha. A funky delivery makes him dominant, but also takes a toll on the shoulder.

True but it’s cold AF having watched that game, tougher to get loose
Of course a good way of exacerbating an injury is pitching in weather that is cold AF

I love these malcontents like Sale, Greinke, and Cutler. Guys always look fricking miserable

No idea, all the starters have been garbage. Keeping them from making an average amount of spring training starts does not look like it worked.

Hopefully he doesn't fix whatever it is that's wrong and he tanks it the rest of the year.

He actually looked better last night with better velocity. But his command was terrible again and that did him in. Now 0-4 with an 8.5 ERA.

The velo being back up has to be encouraging and means he’s probably not hurt. If it’s just mechanical I would think he figures it out at some point

He threw 95 to 97 yesterday.
Most major Leaguers can give a fastball a ride if they can sit dead red.
