What's the most depressed you've been after another team lost?

For me, it's easily when Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State in 2011. At that point a rematch was basically inevitable and our GOAT claim was shot, all because a judgement call on a FG attempt caused a 28-point favorite to lose. The one upset nobody wanted to happen.

Saints/Niners 2012 playoff game. Should have won the SB that year.

ETA: Your title is weird.

I should've been more specific. A team you don't typically root for.

I wouldn't say depressed, but i REALLY didn't want the Cubs to win last year just to stick it to all the bandwagoners and the city of Chicago.

I don't remember getting depressed about a loss by a team I don't root for.

I feel like this thread was just a creative, roundabout way for OP to demonstrate he's still salty about 1/9.

Ah, on edit, I now see the point of the thread. I was super bummed about the undefeated Pats loss. Mercury Morris and Co. can eat a bag of dicks.

The football god karma paybacks that year were incredible.

Lions fans thought they got jobbed, only to see the Cowboys get it in spades the next week, then the Pack had that complete meltdown against Seattle, then Malcolm Butler happened to Seattle. That is an incredible series of events.

I remember being really bummed when Nebraska couldn't pull it out against Texas in the 2009 Big 12 Championship.
