What's the latest on Bryce Harper?

Just saw SC do a thing on Steven Strasburg. Haven't heard anything on the catcher in a while though.

He's an OF and will be in the majors by June imo. Nats will finish well, probably 3rd in the division

I have a buddy that just got drafted by the Nats out of Rice.
he told me Harper is outstanding but that he's a massive douche and that most of the other minor-leaguers can't stand him

Harper's talented no doubt. But the dude would be more valuable if he could hit and play catcher IMO. The fact he's an outfielder doesn't separate or make him any better than Ryan Braun IMO. And that's not a slam against Braun, but people act like he's Babe Ruth. fricker couldn't even bat .260 in AA.
FWIW, I like Rendon as a hitter. That dude can stroke it.

He would be, but I gotta agree with Rizzo on the switch. Catcher is tough on a guy physically. They can extend his value and potential if he's in the OF.

Harper is really good, but he's not the best prospect ever as he's been hyped. Slow that roll. And he loses a ton of value as an outfielder.
I'm a huge fan of Rendon and felt awful when he broke his leg. He was such a stud at Rice. Great, great college player - I'm rooting for him to make it as a pro.

Reynolds did a piece on him the other night. He termed him as the best "Power hitting prospect" of all time.
