What will this years excuse be to put in an undeserving team into CFP?

When it first was pitched to us we were told championships matter. Well Kirby Hocutt has made sure 2 years in a row that isn’t the case.
We were told at the beginning everyone would judged equally, well again Hocutt blew that last year.
Scheduling tough games matter, yet losing unless your state begins with a vowel, has proven that is false.

Eye Test is better than SOS though, because that’s a fake metric. At least Eye Test is a human thing

Then who would you have replaced Clemson with last year?
You think the 1 seed was the least deserving of the 4 teams? We lost fine, but to say Clemson didn't deserve to be there is laughable.

As a fan, I’d still like to see the BCS system and rankings used to determine it over some arbitrary committee with built in bias. Even if they have gotten it right, that doesn’t mean they always would.
If the chips fell right (i.e., P5 champions lost 1-2 games each), would they actually allow a team in like an undefeated UCF on a 25 game win streak? Just using them as an example

I mean OSU got crushed in the playoffs, but they clearly had the best wins overall in CFB in 2016. They didn't win a conference title but they had wins @ a top 10 OU, a top 10 @ Wisky and home against a top 10 Michigan. Their only loss was in a game where they had complete "control" according to metrics.
OSU should have gotten in in 2015 according to you

I already forgot my playoff proposal from previous years but it's something like 5 conference winners, 2 at-large, and 1 G5.
Or 5 conference winners, 1 P5, and give the G5 their own playoff.
