2. Cardinals score 4 in the 9th and beat the Nats to move on to the NLCS.

3. Any game seven the Caps have played in.

The last 10 years as a Raiders fan all seem like 1 really bad day, does that count?

1985 against Villanova

I realize Nova played great in Lexington, but no way Georgetown should have lost that game.

And the 82 game was heart breaking due to the guy passing to Worthy. I hate it when that happens to a kid in the spotlight like that.

1/9 no contest.

I will never know what the hell happened that night. College football immortality was right there for LSU and 2011 LSU would've been considered top five to three most dominant teams of all time. Now they're just a footnote.

The Saints losing to the 49ers the same week. That team would have won the Super Bowl.

2009 Stanley Cup Final Game 7, losing to Germany in the WC Quarterfinals, losing to La Monroe, the UA/UT 5 OT game, any time UA loses in the NCAA basketball tournament.

I was a senior in college and a big Raiders fan when this happened in December 1972:

"The Immaculate Reception"

I stood in my room and yelled "frick" for about a half hour.

Listening to my 2nd favorite team lose Super Bowl 4

KC 23
Minnesota 7

It was played in Tulane Stadium, sold out and blacked out. Crazy, eh?

I cried like a baby.

1) Super Bowl XL - Seattle vs Pittsburgh. I think most people remember this game.

2) The day the SuperSonics were stolen from Seattle.

1) 1/9 in attendance

2) 11/5/12 in attendance. the long term ramifications of that game aren't really significant, but being a student through 2010 and 2011, nothing would've been better than beating bama. for whatever reason that game felt personal. I was absolutely heartbroken

3) Rangers Cardinals Game 6. I've never been so close to tears over a sporting event in my life

I'm on board with a few of these responses...

Colorado Avalanche game 7 loss in OT vs the Wild. It was Roy's last game of his career.
