Please explain this. Florida lost their division fairly early on against Georgia and had no shot at the BCSNCG. None. Georgia had nothing but cream puffs after the 10/27 game against Florida so Florida knew that it was Sugar Bowl at best. This is nothing but an excuse. Even after the Alabama loss on 11/10 it was clear that Alabama would be a 1 loss SEC West champion so at worst Florida knew nearly 2 months before their bowl game that they had no shot.
I don't remember all the scenarios but it was possible for UF to make it. And also they finished so strong the thought for a lot of people was that UF and Bama were the two best teams and should be playing each other in the NC. I'm not saying I thought that, but I bet UF did

Did you watch the game? It was pretty clear to me that Florida didn't give a frick and Louisville gave all the fricks
Why was that clear? It was clear to me Florida's DL gave a ton of fricks and was all over the place. It was also clear to me Florida's back 7 looked slow and horribly inept at covering Louisville's WRs.
That's not want it's simple fact. Louisville made Florida's DBs look like they were running in sand.

Lets just say I'm glad it wasn't Oregon last night.
They might've put 60 on us
They might've put 60 on us
I think a lot of people are missing the FACT that for these other teams, playing against an SEC team is like their Super Bowl. For most SEC teams, they are disappointed that they aren't in the national championship.

i didn't really see UL or Clemson blowing their loads or anything. Nebraska/Michigan could give a shite

Dabo picked up the reporter and said, "this is a national championship team" and yelled/cried other things. He definitely blew his load

Well Clemson was probably still confused on how they won the game

Meh, Oregons fast paced offense is like a one trick pony. If you're not in shape and ready they'll put up points in a hurry and be up 21 before you can blink. But if you handle it ala LSU last year and Stanford this year they become just a normal effective spread offense

if Notre Dame had lost, the rest of the country's ultimate nightmare would have come true, SEC v SEC again

Even as a Clemson fan, we pretty much know to turn the TV off before they can get to Dabo for the postgame comments.
Because when they do, Dabo gonna Dabo

uf def seemed to be playing hard to me...
also they were #3 in the country, if they won and BAMA wins, they could have claimed a share of the title; UF had something to play for.

Whenever SEC teams win bowls, it proves the SEC the best. When SEC teams lose bowl games its because they don't care. Get with the program.

Oregon and A&M are two completely different types of spread offenses.
If you stop the Oregon run, they have difficulty beating you with the pass. See Stanford at Oregon as reference.
If you stop the A&M run, they can still beat you with the pass as long as they actually throw downfield (unlike the Florida game) and don't turn the ball over 5+ times (unlike the LSU game).
