I was at gt when Herschel was running all over us and I like him, can’t get much more universal than that.

Have to admit I could not pick more than 3 NBA current players out of a lineup if my life depended on it..But Shaq and Peyton Manning. My cousin met Peyton (at a banquet) a few years back and said he was an very nice down to earth guy.

Brett Favre, despite the evidence to the contrary as it concerns Jenn Sterger and the New York Jets and how he treated his wife and daughter during his drug addiction back in the 1990s. I think Jim Kelly could qualify too.

Yes, for no good reason.

Being likeable doesn’t really mean you’re a good guy IRL.

You just come off as likeable in the public eye.

Bill Cosby was likeable as frick

Arnold Palmer is a great choice.

My Grandmother and Grandfather went to a party at an opening of a country club in Georgia probably 30 years or so ago, and Palmer was there.

They met him and chit chatted with him a bit. 3-4 years later my grandmother past away back here in Louisiana, and Palmer sent a flower arrangement and a card to her funeral. The guy maybe talked to them for 20-30 min and remembered my grandparents names and everything.

I'll tell that story anytime Palmer's name comes up. Still blows me away.

Believe it or not, A-Rod is a good dude in real life. Met him in the Bahamas and he actually played dodge ball with my kids and nephews.
