Miami, Aubie, and Bama are easy.

The fourth is impossible to choose. I'd argue for Oklahoma or even Wiscy, but OSU and TCU would have cases, too.

Edit: TCU/OU is a toss up but I'd give the nod to TCU for the neutral site win in championship game over OU. If TCU beats OU in convincing fashion then no doubt TCU would deserve to be ranked higher than OU and OSU.

Why not TCU?

Ohio State would have lost to Oklahoma and Iowa.

TCU would have lost to Oklahoma (and beaten them in the Big 12 Championship) and Iowa State.

Auburn Miami Bama Clemson (in that order).

Clemson would have a win over the No. 1 team.

I'd think OSU should be ahead of Bama if UGA and OU win, but the OU loss to TCU would hurt OSU's argument. Auburn beating UGA would also help Bama.

With a loss to a 4-8 team (I know I know about the QB)...

And a loss to a 4 win team.

TCU - only has a slim chance at getting in if they absolutely obliterate Oklahoma.

Oklahoma - win and they're in

Wisconsin - win and they're in

Georgia - win and they're in

Auburn - win and they're in

Miami - win and they're in

Clemson - win and they're in

OSU - win + Oklahoma win and they need the committee to pick them over Bama. Obviously, their chances increase if their win is convincing.

Win + TCU win and they're pretty much a lock

Alabama - TCU wins and they're pretty much a lock. They have a chance of getting picked over Ohio State if Oklahoma and Ohio State win.

UCF - no shot

All the controversy pretty much comes down to putting Alabama or Ohio State in in the event that OSU wins.

Those three are in.

Ohio State/Oklahoma/Clemson would be quite the debate, IMO.

Clemson would have the best resume, IMO. Ohio State would be a conference champion. Oklahoma beat Oho State pretty handily in their own stadium.

Would be wild.

Geographic reason.
The committee will not pick 4 teams from the same general area of the country.
It could be TCU in place of Bama, if the committee so chooses, but I can assure you that there will be a B1G rep, outside chance of USCw taking tOSUs spot.

Three SEC teams would break the internet and probably lead to reform of the system.

tOSU / Clemson

I think this is literally the only scenario where tOSU has a shot but Clemson may be more deserving.
