5/15yd options on face mask.
Players with the ball can get back up & run if not touched.
Players who had their helmet come off (frequently because opposing player ripped it off) can stay in.
Bands STFU when teams come to the line.

If you score a defensive touchdown, you receive the kickoff instead of giving the ball back.

The NFL should widen the hashmarks and make the professional kickers deal with the more difficult angles.

You do realize that the hashmarks are wider in college so the noodle arm college qbs can make the throw on an out route. It's narrower in the NFL b/c they expect you to have a stronger arm to be able to make that throw.

Eliminate the automatic ejection for targeting.
Targeting-1: Incidental violation of targeting rule. 15 yard penalty but no ejection.
Targeting-2: Blatant violation of the rule. 15 yards and ejection.
Targeting-1: Incidental violation of targeting rule. 15 yard penalty but no ejection.

Eliminate targeting as a separate thing and adjudicate it under the same rules as unnecessary roughness.
Bring back the incidental facemask.
Change 3-yard cushion to 1-yard cushion on illegal receivers downfield.
Keep defensive holding but change pass interference to only apply to tripping. If the WR wants to catch a pass he ought to have to fight for it. The "QB intentionally throws short and the WR slows down so that the DB runs into him, drawing a flag" play should not exist.
Return kickoff and touchback rules to the way they were back around 2000 or so. Kick from the 30, no fair catches in the field of play, touchbacks come out to the 20.

Came here to say that. Separate intentional and unintentional targeting. Also, remove all celebration restrictions. Bring some fun to the game like the U did back in the day
