What was that we/ kick returner from Bama that had a gruesome leg injury. He was a bad arse dude. Like 10-15 years ago.

It’s going to sound ridiculous because he has accomplished so much but if Tiger Woods stays healthy he probably wins 100 tour events and 5 or 6 more majors

J.R Richard. If he doesn’t get that stroke he could’ve been a Hall of Famer with the way his career was trending

Bama fans are such retards. Tua on the list makes this seem like a joke

Not ridiculous. Had he remained healthy, there would be no argument over Tiger v. Jack.

Lot of the NBA players I'm seeing listed either already lacked the skills (Rose) or athleticism (Oden) to be a real great.
Amare Stoudemire had off the charts athleticism and was 2-3 years ahead of curve of the modern NBA PF. Could have been a 2-3x MVP and won a chip with the Suns IMO.
Looking strictly at Gator football, have to look at that 2010 DT class. Dom Easley was the most explosive interior DL I've seen in 30+ years of watching Florida football, shredded both knees in college and was forced to transition to NG in the pros. Carrying the extra weight robbed him of more athleticism and put more stress on his weakened legs. Shariff Floyd was a first round pick and a productive player for Minnesota that almost had his leg amputated after a gruesome injury during (I believe) his contract year.

I can't believe Ken Griffey Jr. has only been mentioned once in this thread. Bonds would have been chasing him if it wasn't for all his injuries after he left Seattle.

Uh, DRose won an MVP before he got injured. 25-8-4 for a 6'2 guy at 22 years old is not a small thing.
Oden was a really great shotblocker and rebounder and devloping an offensive game before the injuries cropped up. He started up his second year looking very good and then he blew the knee and never recovered.
His per 36 averages were 18 ppg, 13 rpg and 3.4 blocks per game. If he'd been able to sustain that with his health, he easily could have been a stronger Rudy Gobert.

For different reasons: Rick Ankiel. He was a highly touted prospect that was supposed to anchor the rotation for a decade or more. Then the yips resurfaced.

aka Steve Blass Disease.
Watching Kerry wood's 20-strikeout gave vs. the Astros. Most dominant pitching performance I've ever seen. I would have loved to see him pitch an entire career.

Kerry Wood
Ken Griffey would be holding a lot of records
Nomar
Josh Hamilton (personal not injury)

D Rose won a "Not Lebron" MVP that everyone knows was a joke. He was a PG that couldn't shoot that never learned to shoot even after his injuries. There was a hard ceiling on his ability.
Oden was a dinosaur even by the standards of the time. He had the athleticism of Yao Ming with none of the game-affecting offensive skill. This wasn't injuries derailing an Andre Drummond or Rudy Gobert; Oden lost the fight with Father Time in high school.

UL might've won it all that year.
I'll add Kevin White. Bear's first rounder. Beast at WVU. Him v/Cooper draft threads here.
Stud player, zero appreciable reps to ever prove his potential.
And Tyrone F'ng Calico. Flashed real greatness with the Titans until Roy Williams Roy Williamsed him.

Demarcus Cousins get's a lot of deserved hate, but that Achilles tear launched him off a cliff
