Goddamn. I mean all FSU fans say Taggart inherited a dumpster fire and he had a track record of rebuilding programs... That seems kind of shitty
Kinda racist too

Sounds like your fanbase is just shitty
FSU fans everywhere blame this on “Jimbo quit” but a real power program doesn’t just roll up because a coach goes downhill.
You thought life was unfair, but did you consider:
A&M- fans always there and stand entire game, are repaid with no top four finishes and one Heisman since WW2
FSU, Miami, USC, t.u.- Struggle to fill stands and are rewarded with innumerable MNCs and individual honors
Sorry I couldn't resist

It seemed like things were going well until Jimbo's marriage fell apart because he wife was cheating on him. Didn't that story break around 2016 when the wheels started to come off for FSU?
Think is was 2015. He was stressed enough with his sons health, but the Candi stuff going public changed him. He was humiliated by that
I don't know what they would have done without Dalvin Cook in 2015 and '16

A big problem for FSU is location. It's a haul for fans from central and south Fla to get to Tally.

Still won the 2017 Orange Bowl and played Clemson close I believe. I remember yall had some blowout losses after 2014 though, so I was not onboard with our hire Jimbo at all costs brigade. I would've taken Herman over him

Bobby Petrino rode his cycle and broke them

Giving up 63 to Louisville, and having guys quit on the field vs UNC in 2016 were eye openers for me

Petrino gifted Taggart a win in '18. That was one of the dumbest coaching decisions I've ever seen

So are y'all in knee deep with the budget if the season happens w/o fans or limited schedule? It looks like Taggart taking the FAU job will help the buyout

The ad came out this week and said this fiscal year won't be as bad as they had feared. I don't think anyone knows what things will look like beyond August

It was easily one of the worst I had ever seen

I love how the usuals got triggered over calling Willie Taggart an Affirmative Action hire and then he turned out to clearly be one.... because he sucked arse.

So 1.5 seasons is enough to rebuild a program?

Good coaches show improvement in year 2.

When 5 of your 6 division opponents are NC State, Wake, BC, Louisville, and Syracuse, attendance will always drop off a lot when the team isn’t good. The ACC in its current format is not long for this world.
The ACC refusing to do divisions by geography and forcing schools w/almost zero history w/o each other into the same divisions is so stupid.
They should either realign their divisions power imbalance be damned or ideally just get rid of them completely and go to a pod system. The way it's set up right now guarantees poor attendance for every single school.
Also, taking UL over WVU was a massive mistake b/c it essentially neuters their ability to make a Northern division w/rivalry games. UL fits better in the Big 12 while WVU should be w/it's old Big East/Independent rivals.

5-7 in season one, 4-5 when he was fired last season. It's not like they were getting blown out by WKU like Chad Morris' Arkansas was

Has it moved in the last 3 or 4 years?

ACC South would have potential but the North would still be trash. They planned on epic FSU/Miami championship meetings but FSU has been up and down and Miami has sucked.

People aren't gonna make that trip for every game when
1. The product is bad
2. Stay home and watch in HD
At some point down the road FSU and lots of other programs should take seating out.
