When I was in high school a kid had an injury very similar to Kevin Ware’s. He laid on the floor yelling and crying for his mom for 15 mins before paramedics got there to cart him off. Everyone was afraid to jump the rest of the game

I saw Marcus Lattimore and Nick Chubb on TV. And Willis Magehee but they never showed that replay because everyone knew what happened, except me apparently.

Drowning - Stumbled upon a pinned kayaker who had gotten separated from his friends. Very strong ex-seal in his early thirties was only reason he was still alive. he'd been there 20-30 minutes.

Unfortunately he had a log stuck into his cockpit (along with him) and time ran put before we could unpin him. Not knowing why the boat would not budge any to our side, we finally set up on other side and he was freed. Even w/emergency room doc in our group CPR was to no avail. Sucked because no one knew the wood was poking through his spray skirt and pinning him to the boat. Unfortunately the 1st side looked like the much preferred way to go. This one suckked for a quite a while.

How’s breaking a leg worse than dying though?
Who said it is?

Are you that concerned about winning the "what's the worst injury you witnessed" thread?

Marcus Lattimore against Tennessee. Play ended his career, and having seen it live I've never watched the replay. You knew it was really bad immediately.

I loved baseball as a kid so Dave Dravecky and Tom Browning top my list.

I also remember the entire junior high school talking about Tim Krumrie that Monday morning and all my friends were freaked out

Most people don’t remember but in the Cincinnati- San Francisco Super Bowl, Bengal DL Tim Krumrie (sp) had a leg injury that haunted me for a while.

I was only a kid, maybe 9 or 10. But I remember him in the air with his leg flopping around like it wasn’t even attached to his body.

Don’t know what the injury was but I remember then bringing out he cart and I remember, as a little kid, feeling sick to my stomach when I saw the reply. I had never seen anything up to that point that looked so unnatural and painful.

Read through the thread. Someone else remembers.
