Very impressive. Expected for a D1 CF, but many teams will sacrifice speed for a big bat in the OF.

In HS, a competent coach is gonna get the best 9 bats in the lineup as often as possible. 60 time doesn’t mean much at that level.

Not even, but as long as he slides face first there’s not much that could go wrong.

Sliding head-first* is more dangerous than sliding feet-first.

Agreed, tho what you wrote sometimes holds true even in MLB. I recall Lance Berkman playing CF for Astros.

You telling me you have a kid committed to Arkansas in baseball, and at the same time telling me you didn't know the distance between bases or from the mound to home plate?

BTW. The 60 is an indoor season TF event. They're the elite but if you wanted to look up the last 2023 Spring times, you could compare.

So he hasn’t actually been offered anything or signed anything?

He just said, sure, I have no where else to go so I’ll join your practice team

He was offer a full scholarship at Hog Wild and he committed when we went up for the MS State game (that is the worst SEC vs SEC game I’ve ever witnessed).

He’s very happy with his decision.
