I would say the opposite. They still scout by seeing you run then throw, and then 90% of the kids are eliminated because they aren’t athletic enough to play at that level.
Pitcher, catcher and 1b are the exceptions but you have to rake or have a hand cannon

i ran a 6.7 and was basically a PO

no one told me whether it was good or not

Yeah I think I’m comparing apples and oranges too because they, we, all got a lot faster in a college training program so I would bet they were more 6.6 range in HS besides the two CF.
A few of the guys were a little inflated. You can train toward certain stuff and not play fast or be functional with it
