something that has the tenor of the UT/Ohio St. series a few years back. not that I'm ignorant to the financial side of neutral site games, but P5 home and home series in the first week of the season is almost as exciting as the playoff. hell it almost feels like a playoff

Yup. Pitt desperately needs some energy, and asses in seats. Their AD said he's open to renewing the Backyard Brawl - as well as PSU, just not in the same year.
Also Baylor vs any OOC FBS opponent w a pulse. Maybe a Pac school like Cal or Zona.

I know. It's been a while, but Pitt was the stuff when I was growing up. I loved the old mustard helmets and facemasks and script Pitt(which they brought back this year). I wish they'd get good again.

Fitzgerald & Revis seem like an eternity ago. Having a new coach every two years & bad qbs hurts. Heinz has been so empty that broadcasts now start with an establishing shot of hoagies being made. Shoulda never canned Wanny.
