I know it's fun to pile on JT, but our WRs have sucked bad the last two years. Then add in the fact that he has become really conservative and can't throw people open and it compounds itself. He threw the ball away a ton on Saturday.

JJ had a strength?

Maybe Braxton Miller
Da frick? Braxton was practically a WR playing QB and still a better passer than JT. Add in the fact that he was an electric factory with the ball in his hands, JT isn't in the same category as him.

Braxton was a QB all his life

John David Booty
huh ?
booty only played his last 2 years after sitting behind leinart. booty was much better than barret.
the key to finding a comparable to barrett would be someone that played 3 to 4 years and regressed further and further each year.
hackenberg is a good comp. but his team stunk and he never got heisman love like JT.

Booty actually has similar stats to Barrett in passing but Obvi not running

Plenty of people have similar stats but what makes Barrett so odd is that he's a 4 year starter that played his best as a freshman and regressed.

Matt Stafford

Stafford is the exact opposite of Barrett.

He's a shitty QB and that Buckeye defense is overrated asf

Leak isn't a bad comp. I'll go with Woodrow Dantzler.

Terrelle Pryor or Denard Robinson. Both athletic QB's with terrible fundamental skills as a QB

Beginning think Ohio State would be better if they just ran a Wisconsin offense. Ground and pound, play actions, and less receiver options. Let the defense not have to worry about quick three and outs.

Denard Robinson
Denard might be the best comp in terms of career trajectory.
Pryor played as a freshman, and never really got better, but he didnt regress either.

Some of the responses make me question if some of you guys even follow college football

What? JDB sat until leinart graduated and never got anywhere near the hype that Barrett has gotten
