The SEC just lost the plot for a few years. They went after all of these big time offensive players and forgot that o-line play and defense was the reason they had the most dominant 20 year run a conference has ever had.

Don’t expect it to last.

You're wrong about Notre Dame. That was a dang good team this year that lost a couple of close games to start the season. Two plays away from undefeated, miracle TD catch by Miami, and a failure by the refs to call a blatant hold on the TD winner for aTm.

That program is pissed off about this season and they're going to be a monster next year.

I get the hate, but you gotta put the bias aside and recognize reality.

Don’t forget ND’s first two games were by far the hardest in the country. With a Redshirt Freshman QB and new defensive coordinator. The defense greatly improved as they learned the system and got the right guys on the field.

They went on a 10 game winning streak to end the season last year and went on a run. They could have made some real noise this year.
