Always wanted a pair, but pops gave me a strict $60 shoe allowance. I think they were $80 at the time. Last year i wanted to get my kid a pair until i saw the prices, then was like, nah, dad was right

Had top right and middle right two years apart. Those shoes got more attention back in late elementary/early jr high than my Jordans. People today don’t realize how big Penny and his shoes were mid-to-late ‘90s.

The lil penny commercials were great. Nike stuck a ton of money in their promotions. in all honesty I wonder not only about his career but about his shoe line if penny hadn’t gotten bit by the injury bug

Orlando magic was my favorite team at the time with Shaq and Penny. He had great commercials with little Penny. It’s a damn shame he had all those injuries. He was one of the best players in the mid 90s.I wish Penny got a ring when they beat the bulls in 1995. Damn Rockets and Nick Anderson free throws lol.
