I like Tebow. I am not religious.
However, unlike some of you retards who think he is just a "winner" is stupid. He is a dreadful NFL QB. I would hate to have be the QB of my favorite NFL team. Yes, he has won some games over mostly shitty opposition. Did Tebow get the pick six tonight? Did Tebow account for 160 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs against the Raiders without their star RB and a QB who just hopped off the couch last week? Did Tebow kick and recover the onside kick against Miami?
Like I said, I like Tebow, but he should not be an NFL starting QB. The Broncos have won in spite of him.

He is the all american guy. He is up front, a class act, and always seems to say the right thing. His personality is so unlike any other super star football player that I think that instantly singles him out.

So.. 1-4 with Orton and 4-1 with Tebow.
Not sure if you're serious.
They are winning BECAUSE Tebow isn't turning the ball over and their defense is playing pretty damn good right now.
BTW, Not sure if you watched tonight but I'm pretty sure Tebow drove the ball 95 yards to win the game tonight. That's not winning in spite of him.
Just remember, they didn't really have Mcgahee tonight. They had Tebow and the defense.

again i know tebow has unreal amount of haters, but why does every single black person on tv hate on him? i've never seen one defend or support him.

Because he makes it plain that he's a Christian and not shy about it. To be so "impolite" and immodest about it chafes the media and many football fans.
There have been plenty of QBs who suck that don't get the hate he does.

how many QBs that sucked got as much praise as him?
the last was vince young, and he got plenty of hate to balance out the love

He had 240 yards, 2 tds and 0 turnovers. I would say he did pretty good that game.

No, but he did score the 2 tds and converted the 2pt conversion.

He has earned it at this point. Just like Skelton has earned it in Arizona.

You must have missed the Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders love fest. Irvin has always been a Tebow supporter and Deion is starting to jump on ship.

Thats why its so fun for me to root for him now. Its ugly and it pisses every pompous prick on television off except ironically skip bayless and now instead of seeking out the spotlight like he used to he is letting it come to him and still using it for good.

No but he did have 119 rushing and more ypc than McGahee did

Wins are a team function. Stop attributing a win to a single player.
I guess we are ignoring the fact that the Broncos D have played fricking lights out in four of those five games. What about the fact that three of their wins were against shitastic teams?
Orton had to face the Packers on the road, healthy Raiders, Titans on the road (who are decent this year), and he beat the 6-3 Bengals. Two of those losses were by three points.
He got pulled in the fifth game. I guess if you want to give Orton the "loss" in that game against the Chargers, fine, but like I said, the record is a function of the team.
Looking at record is simply bullshite, Tebow has had a far easier schedule and the D has played out of their minds in four of those games.
Once again, I like Tebow. He is just not a good NFL QB.

I wonder why Tebow gets praise when he does well. Probably because he gets so much shite each day, for no reason. Some people's intelligence or lack thereof, amazes me.

Has he gotten praise in the NFL from anyone but Broncos or Gator fans? I've heard nothing but criticism, and rightfully so, about his mechanics and accuracy. I have also heard a great deal of piling on that goes beyond what you would see about a subpar QB on a poor team. The only thing I hear that could be construed as praise is the disbelieving statements from the sports media about why he seems to keep winning.
Posted on 11/17/11 at 11:25 pm to Jake88
there are plenty of media members praising him. hell skip fricking bayless praises him daily
you're just listening to the people who further your world view

My mechanics > Tebow's mechanics.
The guy will not be a good QB in the NFL in terms of throwing the ball. He is a basically a bulky version of Antwaan Randle El.

Because he is a winner, and most people are losers. They just can't relate.

Yeah. I like him to. Dude has convictions, believes in himself and plays hard. Forget all the outside media hype and what's not to like?
While this is a unique story right now, there's a reason John Elway isn't total smiles while watching the game. This isn't the future of NFL...it's a gimmick that's working for this team right now and they are using it to scrape out a couple of wins.
The NFL is a passing league. You can't hide from that forever.

He's a little over board with his douchiness, but I can't help but root for him.
Dude's a competitor!
