- "overly Christian"?

- unconventional QB? NFL types have always said college systems won't work in the NFL, and they look down at those systems like they're children's football.

Are these the main two reasons?

It's been proven that NFL quarterbacks must be efficient with the forward pass to win LONG-TERM. The wildcat worked for awhile but was stopped eventually. Most pundits didn't give Tebow a chance to even win a game, but now this is their reasoning.

Neither.

People hate Tebow because of the attention that's constantly forced down fans throats on ESPN, etc.

Because he sucks at throwing the ball and he is a better person than they are. Everyone wants superman to fail.

just that he isnt very good but still wins. It pisses those who have played off it seems like.

I didnt like him in college because I thought he put his religion and his virgin b.s. in everyones face.

Why do people hate JJ so much? Their numbers are eerily similar.

ESPN... 100%

The three years he was the starter at UF he was so overexposed that it made people sick.

Oddly enough, even though peopled hated him as a Gator, some people like him now that he's not at UF. Not everyone, but more than a few here have said just that.

If they say the "Religion" thing they obviously don't follow any football (or basketball) players on Twitter.

Every week Tebow is around 100 yards passing and 60+ or so rushing. He's 4-1 so far this year. That is pretty much what JJ has done the past 2 years at LSU.

This is me. I thought tebow was overexposed and some other really good guys-McCoy and Bradford-were underexposed. Also though there were somethings I thought he did that brought the attention on him. However the way he has handled everyone talking him down and the new coaches and management not believing in him has impressed me.

Because guys like Tebow who seem to be the real deal and not a hypocrite makes it harder for non believers to criticize. They like it better when marginal Christians who are lukewarm stumble and are inconsistent. This helps them justify their own sins.

I thought you meant Tebow in college. But yeah, I see what you're saying.

i don't hate tebow, i just think he's a shitty QB that is being billed as a great QB

if there is one thing in the NFL i detest, it's giving team stats (wins) to QBs
