I'll one up you on that one. The same guy, who likes to lower his shoulder and truck you when you are trying to set a screen on him. He does it every time, basically to the point where you hate to set picks on the guy. He knows it's a foul, everyone knows its a foul. fricking stop.

i'm guessing karma's biggest pet peeve is teammates who don't call out screens

I played 21 with the teenagers from my nieghborhood recently, and they have added a new rule to drag that game out forever. Tip ins zero the shooters score.

this does not make you cool. this does not help the game. if you get fouled, call it. no one suddenly respects you as the guy not calling fouls. if you are on my team i am probably getting pissed because you are getting fouled and missing but think it's cool to let the other team have it.

The one I think is the most dumb is if you call a foul and the shot goes in, the shot doesn't count.
This one burns me up every time I play

You need to rewrite this to just say the Tom Thibs is one of the best coaches in history.

I hate when people who don't know basketball (try to) call a travel on hop steps. It really grinds my gears because I use the pro hop pretty often.
The hop step is one of the most underused moves in basketball IMO. If you use it right, you can hop right by/between defenders and get a wide open lay up.

Hop step?
this the same thing as a crab dribble?
I'm assuming you're talking about a jump stop?

In my experience, its the Pro Hoppers that dont know anything about basketball because they think it means they can hop around the court 5 times until they get an open shot

This isn't a rule, but the phrase "ball don't lie" pisses me off to no end. I don't know why, can't explain it..it just does. Like the ball suddenly gains magical powers after 2 teams argue with each other. Oh, the ball went in? Well certainly that means his team was correct all along. Oh he missed? Well then, surely the universe is telling us that the other team was right.
And no matter what happens, someone on either side ALWAYS says it. It's like the 'germans' of message board posts..it's not clever, it's not original, it's not funny. Enough already.

I can't stand when it's game point and the team on defense just mugs anyone with a reasonably open shot. I get the point, but that wasn't your tactic for the rest of the game, so man up and play defense like a man. If the other team gets a good look and makes it, fine, they were better than you.

Also, anyone who steps under a jumpshot can eat a bag of dicks.
