I'm not sure what the opposing view is, but what should be the ramifications of fumbling through the end zone? and don't say you get the ball back where you fumbled.

you can not fumble the ball forward out of bounds. literally at every other point of the field, it gets reverted to the spot of the fumble.....until the endzone. where we dont only give the defense possession for a ball that they never recovered, but we also give them 20 yards of field position

At BEST defenses should get the ball at the spot of the fumble.

I've always said that if a fumble goes through the end zone and the defense doesn't recover, it should be marked at the 20, offense plays whatever down it is and make it "and goal"
That way offense gets penalized for fumbling, and the defense does't get rewarded for not recovering

Hang onto the ball and you get points.

Ive never had a problem with it. This argument WCA’s making is simplifying the goal line way too much. There’s all sorts of different rules at the goal line for possession and control. Why would fumbling out of bounds in the end zone be different?
