That or acting like LSU '07, in giving each team the early 7-0 or worse leads, like two years ago, when it finally bit them down in Lafayette..early hole..too much to dig out from.

Warren Capone does have clout being a Griz Great,

I COULD be wrong.. but didn't he have kids at Parkview and not CHS.. I vaguely remember seeing one of the Cox HS games one year.. and think.. damn he did not even put his kids in the Catholic schools... but I may be wrong.

It seems like every other school in BR started to recruit locally. Especially Dutchtowm. Catholic isn't the dominant program like it was once. Garidel wasn't the smartest guy (if you playesd for him you know what i mean) ut he was a hell of a coach. Garidel and Chris Carrier leaving...... biggest mistake letting them go

With Hannie, Moscona, Thomas,etc..?

St Amant was still great then, Dutchtown had yet to steal their kids fully?

Some epic CHS-SA battles back around then.

Garidel and Carrier were big losses for CHS-BR to overcome.

The best was my freshman year (1999 season), when we beat them 3-0 on a blocked FG. That was a badass game. Stopped them four times at the goal line.

defninetly. Always had them circled on the schedule. Seemed like the only team that could be us then

Definitely one of the hardest game i've ever played in. I will never forget that kick getting blocked

I was a pussy and didn't play FB, but I remember watching that from the stands. Beat Jesuit that same season. Even though we lost, the atmosphere in the stands for the semi against Evangel was electric. Great season.

I never liked Moreau again after that game. Run a different play Doug!

I don't say this often, but I'd really like to know what BilJ thinks.

WE must have been there at the same time, in my 4 years we lost 3 semifinal games, twice to West Monroe and Brock Berlin's Evangel team my senior year.

I think Warren has no shot at that gig.
It's Sid's to turn down, IMO.
