. Sponsorships and TV money came pouring in and any tournament who could entice Tiger to play was sure to reap the financial benefits. The weeks when Tiger sat out TV ratings tanked and attendance was usually poor. Most pros who are playing today will readily admit that it was Tiger who brought the big purses and sponsorship money that they are getting today.

This is exactly what Arnie did as well.

*patiently waiting for matchups to be posted*

Looking hard at Stenson, McDowell, Kisner and Kokrak. Hoping to fade Sneds, An and Every, maybe Mahan and Hahn as well.

May go big on Stenson. He had a good shot at winning last year. Putting has always been his downfall. Same for Serge.

What day would y'all recommend going this week? I'm not dead set on trying to catch some great finish on Sunday. Is it more enjoyable to go Thursday or Friday? I assume there aren't as many crowds.

Put some smaller To Win bets in on the guys I played in MUs this week... We'll see if any of them can scare the top 5.

Leishman +4200 to Win
Kokrak +4700 to Win
Steele +5200 to Win
Palmer +6000 to Win

Stenson

Comes off as very stern on course but at the British Open last year I watched him in a practice round. He was the only golfer out of 8-10 groups that walked the edge of #16 and signed autographs for everyone standing alongside the hole along with giving autograph on the tee box.
He also stayed at the same B&B near St. Andrews that we did (but years earlier) and the lady who ran the B&B said he was "a very nice young man" (in a Scottish accent of course).
Props to him.

You're right, he comes off as stern. But he's goofy as hell when he's not inside the ropes.

Rose with his second eagle to move to 2 under. If he can finish well, he'll be thanking his lucky stars. Could have been a rough one, but he's in great shape now after what should have been a poor day.

Scott's form is great right now.

Arnie was great for golf, but even after him golfers were not paid all that well. Tiger made golfers some of the richest athletes
