That opens a playoff spot so MVC gets 5 probably the Sky will get 2 most likely, SLC should get 3 for certain, CAA will get 5 (biases) and SoCon OVC should get 2 each, unless EIU beats Jax St then gets 3.
Big South will get 1

So there's about 3 to 4 spots open.

Right now just thinking off top head

MVC: NDSU SDSU ILS INS (winner UNI/YSU)

SLC: Sam St, McNeese, Southeast

Sky: EWU PSU MSU/UM winner of wins out

I'll try to figure out rest after LSU Game or you guys can add.

McNeese goes up 21-13 on a Ryan Ross TD run. Cowboys went for it on 4th down and got inside the 10. Punched it in the next play.

Under 10 minutes in the 4th.

Northwestern State up 41-28 on Lamar at the start of the 4th. Can the Demons get their first win?

McNeese wins the game 28-13. Doesn't look pretty, but these guys have grit and fight to the end. Only undefeated team in the Southland.

This former Coyote player, alumni, and fan is high on life tonight after beating the Bison. That's all I got for this thread.

For the time I was able to watch it, McNeese looked like they were playing playoff football. Wasn't able to watch the rest of the half. Good to see them come back and win by 2 scores with just 160 total yards on offense.

Here is my projection of playoff teams

Not seeding or giving home games yet but will go by conference

MVC (5)
ILS
INS
NDSU
SDSU
UNI

SLC (3)
McNeese
Sam
Southeastern

OVC (2)
Jax
EKU

SoCon (1)
Chattanooga

Sky (3)
EWU
PSU
MSU

Big South (1)
Coastal

CAA (4)
JMU
Richmond
UNH
W&M

Patriot (1)
Fordham

Pioneer Champ (1)

Two more spots from Youngstown, Montana, Liberty, SLO,

So right now I have a field of 25 but need to be at 24.

Maybe some other knucklehead will give it a try. Because I'm probably way off.

I believe they're ineligible for improper benefits.

Might want to change it now that SLU choked away the game to SFA. Really don't think we will go into Conway and win on the stripes meaning we will be 7-4, and that ain't making the playoffs.

They did? I will change weekly but hey it's probably better guess and better field than the committee will put together

I'd like to see what y'all come up with. Like I said it is a guess

Yup 28-27. Blew a 20 point lead, and halfway through the season still missing extra points.

It was a good field btw the parity between 15-35ish is crazy so who knows how these next few weeks shake out.

Guys UNI is 0-3 in the Valley. They aren't making the playoffs. Western Illinois is the team you should be looking at.

But they have winnable games left they'll get the benefit like INS did. Western plays all their tough games late I don't think Western wins another game.

Eta: plus I hate Macomb, Western, and the place they call a stadium.

Before they made it somewhat playable you dressed about a half mile away in basketball gym. The field was painted with house paint, stuff never came out, and the grass was so damn high.

I like that McNeese was able to go to Conway to get that win. That's a huge step for this team. Can't declare ourselves champions yet though. We are gonna have to go fight each week, can't slip up against inferior competition.

McNeese struggles on offense early in the game, but that defense is just nasty. Viator been taking LESsons.
