That hurts just thinking about it. 30 reps in one set? Seems like a recipe for injury

Thanks to crossfit, you'll be seeing a whole generation of broken up 40 somethings. The timing will work out great for my kid, she wants to be an orthopedic surgeon and should be finished schooling just in time for this to kick in.

Yes indeed. I wrecked my body in my 20s with prolonged heavy weight lifting. I paid the price in my 30s. Just now starting to lift again and much.more reasonable and form conscious.

Kinda on the fence. Howell? But it's a scramble. So there's that.

Hey Scoob,

I did LHL for a while. It definately had me rolling them better. Speed was a little challenge, at first, with the lag putts.

Keep it up Coach. It's a marathon, not a sprint. I'm 309/246/200.

Was told about this guy's videos on YouTube. His name is David Blair. He teaches about educating the hands. Really helped me with ball striking. Took it to the course yesterday and shot 44/36. Putted like a donkey on the front 9. Had 20-22 putts. Gathered it up on the back and putted for birdie on 18 to shoot 1 under. Lipped out for an even par 36 at Snatch.

Yeah i really like it and it feels more comfortable than i thought it would. I seemed to lag ok with it. Definitely had me rolling it on a better line.

Thanks Baws,
I'm in it for the long haul. It is definitely a life change. I'm tired of being a fat boy. Also, our groups resident fat boy has dropped over 80lbs so I am about to be the fatty of the group. Not, gonna happen. The golf swing already feels better. I can draw it a lot easier.

In terms of putting. You just have to get comfortable over the ball and practice. I had liprocy last year. I finally realized that I was not finishing the putting stroke. Now, I let my right hand point at the hole at finish. Its rolling well now.

No prob.

He says it's all about what the hands do from waist-high to waist-high and consciously rolling them over at impact. I usually hit a fade, especially with the long irons. I think I only hit one or two fades yesterday. Everything was pretty much straight or a slight draw.

Working for me anyway.

Putted well on the practice green before the round. The greens were rolling pretty quick yesterday. Not LaDitch quick but still. It was more of an issue of not finding the speed till hole 9 or 10 unfortunately.

I have always found that I putt better on faster greens, because you can actually play a break.

Now, when they get tournament fast....

I taped a metal meter stick to the ground with one end running into leg of my coffee table. Set up a feeder of 10 balls from my putting mat return track. I would just sit there and putt all night down the meter stick. Try and make it go the length of the meter stick and hit the leg squarely. It would roll back sometimes if you hit it perfect.

I was lights out with the putter the rest of the summer. My friends hated that meter stick. Felt so comfortable that I could start my ball on the right line. So just needed to make the right read and commit. And since I played MSUs course nearly every day, I made a lot of putts.

Need to get back to putting on it.
