It really is surprising about Sherwood. Granted I didn't play out there often but I did occasionally and there always seemed to be decent crowds when I did.

I'm extremely surprised
On the weekends it's busy from sunup to sundown, but if that's strictly members playing 36 a day, then it doesn't mean they're making a ton of money
I have a living social deal where I bought 10 rounds for 100 bucks so I've played there for only a cart fee the last 7 times out there, so I may have contributed to their problems.

The timing is strange too. If they were still watering yesterday, it seems to me like they would have at least stayed open through the 4th as a last ditch effort to bring in a little more cash to pay some employees.
