I went there Friday, the greens are in pretty bad shape. The front nine I found much worse than the back. They are supposed to be closing down for a couple of months to redo all the greens. The rest of the course was in nice condition. And it is a Pete Dye design, but no crossties in the bunkers.

Your 4 iron is 23*. So if you want to split the difference 19, but an AP1 3 iron is 20*. I'd go 18 because why the frick not.

Interviewing in a position in Portland, OR in a few weeks. Interview is on a Friday and they told me to stay the rest of the weekend on them.

Well, I guess it'll just be this one time I'm gonna play there. If the rest is in good enough condition, I guess that's good enough.

We have to temper our expectations on greens since we play at L'Augusta. But then again, I don't think you have felt their full wrath yet

I was getting a taste the last time I was there. They had firmed up since the week before, and I was starting to see the speed. And then it rained, and the slowed down.
But yeah, hood of a car....hard wood floor....L'Augsta greens, all the same.
I'm interested to see what they do at the Dirty for this tournament.
