The drive to the Island is easy. Straight up 1, past Nottoway.

Next time we'll carpool.

COP on a few holes. It didn't get hit as hard as the rest of the area.

It was fine for the most part.

I'm hoping I can have some morning meetings at our site in Plaquemine this summer so I can hit the Island after lunch.....never seems to work out that way though.

Got off work early (dancing banana thing) unexpectedly. Played bayou bend in Crowley and shot an 86 which is bad for that course. Currently driving my buddy who met me on #5 while he finishes his round and drinking beer. Also found somebody to play with Monday (dancing banana again) at the farm. Anybody know if the greens still fricked over there?

Yeah, I can't explain how easy that drive was. But click it, or ticket.

Tibby, how's Bayou CC? I'm gonna end up walking there early some Saturday mornings. Is that the goat ranch you've been talking about?

its probably not the worst course you've played, but it is tight, small greens, tight lies in fairways, etc. when I worked there it was about as good as it could get, it has gone to shite. if they would lower the price it wouldn't be bad. don't be above the hole on those greens

and flat except for a couple elevated tees and every green is mounded up and usually severely sloped back to front

Those greens sound just like the little postage stamps at the goat ranch in Hahnville. They're all about 20 feet wide and 30 feet deep at most and on 45* angle slopes.

Bring it to Sherwood then!

I had fun today. Getting f'n hot though. We need to bring Lefty's friend fishing. He was cool.

I felt bad for him with that Razr fit. I could see my frustration with that thing coming back.

Like swinging a small brick.

Yep, it's less than 1/2 mile from my house but I haven't played there in over a year. The only good thing about learning there was I had to learn to hit my scoring irons straight at small targets.
