Gotcha ... From what I remember he is/was a nice guy. Being a nice guy does not necessarily make someone a good golf coach. Him being arrested for stealing money was a shock ...
What was a bigger shock was that nicholls kept him as coach

On BREC courses, you get a bonus for that.

Yeah. I was born and raised in Chattanooga. I love that city. I definitely wanna end up there whenever I settle down. Maybe I can take over for Stone taking care of the Honors Course.
It's such a great place. Perfect size city. 2 hours from B'ham, ATL, Knoxville (
), and Nashville. Got voted #1 outdoor city by some magazine. Has some pretty good golf.
And downtown and everywhere is booming compared to some cities. I go back and there are new buildings and restaurants every time.

Happens to the best of us.
Always a few streaks down the research putting greens on the North Farm from hydraulics or whatever.

A friend's dad is a CPA for Sewanee, and they live on the campus. Bought the house, and rent the land it's on for $1 a year. They left here after Katrina and never came back. Some pretty nice courses in that part of the world.

I was cutting the first green at 4 am before a tourney and the hose on the middle reel busted and I didn't notice until I was almost done. Killed 3/4 of the green for 2-3 weeks, but it came roaring back after that. I guess that's what happens when you have crappy grass

Oh man. Sewanee is gorgeous. It's about 45 from Chattanooga, but anywhere up around East TN is awesome.
I need to explore some more courses around Chattanooga area. I've played all the municipals/publics, and a few private clubs for a scramble or friends that worked there.
One of my favorites has to be The Bear Trace at Harrison Bay: LINK Played a scramble there. It was gorgeous. Very well taken care of too. The superintendent won superintendent of the year last year.
It's flatter than most courses around Chattanooga. So many have elevation changes almost every hole (Dancing Rabbit reminded me of a Chatt course).

Sitting in a solar power design seminar in NOLA.
A bunch of architects up in here and they have to dumb down all electrical discussion.

She wants to try it. She played sports he whole life, and I think she wants to try something competitive.

Pretty much every time I've seen a couple playing golf together, the guy looks like he wants to fricking shoot himself.
