I don't know shite about what it takes to run a golf program, but why do you think Nichols could be successful? Or are you just saying that it doesn't take much to be a top 100 golf program?

Idk if threeputt feels the same way, but I can tell you that the Nicholls program draws some of the best juniors in the state, since LSU goes national and international.
Not that Nicholls doesn't, but it attracts a lot of local high level talent.
Now as far as it being a Top 100 program, it's very possible. If the old coach I know of is still there, and I would venture to say he is, the guy doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground. Coming from a competitive golfing background, one could reroute the program for success easily.

Gives new meaning to the "19th hole" when you have a fun round with the wife!
sadly my wife will never play with me...its just not her game... she will ride in the cart with me every now and then.

Brought my wife to the range with me one time to try and teach her the basics. The first thing I said to her was to grab a club and step up to the ball, so I could teach her a good stance/address position. She lines up on the wrong side of the ball (she's right-handed and got on the left handers side) with the clubhead of a 7 iron facing backwards.
Needless to say, she never really picked up the game.

Women on the course is a tough pill to swallow. Taking your wife is fine, because you'll move her along if you had to. Ya'll going to DSCC I'm guessing, so no pressure.
