Try this to get some lag. Really helps. Close the club face about 20 degrees by turning it to the left and then try to hit the ball. The only way to hit the ball somewhat straight is to produce lag. If you don't, the ball will go quick left. I find it helps me when I think I'm casting a bit

I crank up to 37.5* degrees closed. Because you know #LoftUp. It creates the perfect torque vortex for me to carve irons, go pin seeking with wedges, and mash drivers.
