I might have the record for the fastest down arrow.

Can we get some stats on those?

Check em out on the site, you can get a project or the other traditional reg, stiff, xstiff. Think I'm just gonna do a 9.5 stiff. The price is ridiculous, its hard to find Ping clubs on sale.

Ping sets their prices, nobody will ever put them on sale because Ping will pull their account VERY quickly!

I'm gonna say 'down arrows' are a point of pride.

Kind of like shooting below par. The more I have, the better I'm posting.

Give me your amateur fitting suggestions. I have a SS that requires a stiff flex, hit a 10.5 degree G5, and hit moon balls with all clubs in the bag. Suggest a shaft and clubhead. Go!

I will probably never get a real fitting so don't screw me on this

How high are you teeing the ball up?

BPro suggested I tee it down, and it helped me.

About 1/3 of the ball above the club

ETA: If the wind is at my back I might tee it a little higher to try to launch one

The more under par you are in the golf threads, the better.

What happens when we have an arrow Stableford format?

For punched greens, they rolled fast. I know that sounds weird, but they were sanded, and quicker than any punched green I've ever played on. I guess they hadn't really watered them much yet.

That'll change in a few hours.

I tee my driver lower than most; usually a max height of the top of the driver splitting the equator of the ball.

Get a stiff shaft tipped 1"! Probably something like the Aldila RIP (alpha) or Graffaloy Blue. You can keep the 10.5 just to make sure the ball gets airborne! If you like Ping g20, or maybe an RBZ
