AP with the top 5 from 5 different conferences. Without going back and looking, that seems uncommon in recent times

Not that LSU is good but how do you loose to a #6 team in there house basically and drop 9 spots

Or you can be the #2 team and lose at home to a #11 team and only drop 9 spots.

Or even better Duke stomped celmsom on the road last week and was still ranked 3 spots in front of duke?
The human voter needs to be done away with other then inputting injuries

Why is Alabama ranked so high at 10?

Good lord, voters can't get over their preseason ranking and bias. The vote should be fluid after empirical evidence.

You don't just only drop them the 'ol standard 7 spots after a loss.

What is this 1979?

Pac 12 with 8 teams in the AP. It's a shame it's all being blown up next year but at least they're going out with a bang.

Alabama problem is quarterback. Period. If they had a decent one, they would be national champions.

Texas is the real deal with Ewers.

Big 10? Nope.

Yet they don't mind dropping Ohio State despite winning. I'm fine with it but it really makes no sense how certain teams can lose and stay in the top 10.

Alabama has problems other than quarterback. They can't pass protect for shite against a good d-line and their depth at d-line is suspect.

I don't even mind the idea of "no official rankings until week 4 (or whatever)." Would that fudge the numbers in a major way when considering who gets in to the playoffs? Genuinely asking...

There are no two teams in the country with more to play for this year than Oregon St. and Washington St.
