Thanks Pro... I'm fully expecting to be 30 yards back and first to hit every shot but off the tee box.

We shot 65 yesterday. Which is about as low as me and my partner could possibly go. Dead last in the championship flight. FML

Had my titleist fitting yesterday... All I can say is WOW. If you've never had a true club fitting before, do it ASAP. I was amazed at how much better I was hitting the ball with irons that fit me. My current AP1s were too long and too stiff.

Ended up getting AP2s with dynamic gold R300, cut 1/2". Also got fitted for 2 wedges and 2 913h hybrids. I am so pumped, can't wait til the clubs come in

Well it wasn't free I'll say that much

Been saving up to get new clubs for a while, and just got a raise at work, so I let it ride

what about a broke 30 y/o with a PhD? hahaha

If you get fitted, do you have to buy their shite that day? I was hoping to go to a Ping Demo day next weekend, but I definitely don't have the money to buy that shite right now. I would like to forward my fitting information to Santa Claus haha

Depends on where you get it done, but I was not required to buy anything. I knew going in I was looking for new clubs.

Most places will not charge you for the fitting, but some charge like 30 bucks if you don't buy I've heard. Still not bad. They give you a spec sheet with all your recommended clubs and specs

Played the city park tournament this weekend. Couldn't score to save my life.

However, I played rounds at the Oaks afterwards. Shot 75 yesterday, and 74 today.

The 74 consisted of a +6 front nine, and -4 back nine
