L.T. vs. Pitt
Chris Johnson vs. Jacksonville
Steve Slaton vs. Indy
Jacksonville and Indy both have pitiful run defenses. So I'm looking at playing Chris Johnson and Slaton. However, even though LT has struggled I still have a tough time leaving him out. Thoughts?
Also, at WR I'm pretty weak. Boldin is a beast so he is for sure playing. So suggestions on two more out of the following:
Santonio Holmes vs. San Diego
Micheal Jenkins vs. Denver (I'm kind of liking this play. Jenkins appears to be coming alive and Denver D is horrible.)
Chris Chambers vs. Pitt
Steve Breaston vs. Seattle
Donnie Avery vs. San Fran
Kevin Walter vs. Indy

I would sit LT and go with Breaston & Jenkins. Jenkins does seem to be doing well.
Can anyone talk me out of dropping Sammy Morris for "The Lawfirm"? I've been hanging onto him hoping he comes back from this knee injury but if he misses this week it will be 4 straight he's been out. Plus with BGE doing well I'm thinking they may lean on him more even when Morris does come back. Thoughts?

you got what you needed out of sammy morris, let it go.... whose available?

Pretty much the only reasonable options left on waivers are: Benjarvis and Cedric Benson. There's a drop off after that such as Michael Bush, Sproles, Pierre Thomas, and Ahman Green.
ETA: Cadillac is also available
I already picked up Torain thinking he would work out but not so much, so I'll drop him for BGE or Benson.

Denver will be giving Peyton Hillis a shot at RB this week.

I knew Hillis got the majority of the carries when Torain went down but I thought they were looking into signing someone?

I doubt whoever they sign this week will be ready to get a lot of carries this week.

I've already been down the FB-converted-to-RB road with McClain and that didn't turn out so well. I don't think Selvin or Hillis are the answer though, so they're gonna have to do something.

I'm just praying Willy Parker isn't a go again this week. last week I had too many RB's, now not enough. I'm depending on Moore again. I was really praying Torain would hold up and be special, that was my Ride into the playoffs, now I have to work for it.

This is my last week before the playoffs. here are my division standings with our team names (you guys might like the names:
1- Sabanation 5-5
2- Serenity Now 5-5
3- ManponMania (this is me) 5-5
4- Dynomites 4-6
5- TS 4-6
6- Rebelbogs 3-7
top three teams go. I play the #2 team so if I win I could be second at the worst and maybe first

quote:I have never heard of a shoulder sublixation, which is what Willie has. Is that any different than a torn labrum? Maybe a doctor out there will let us know. Oddly, the cbs guru has Moore projected for 17.2 points and Parker projected for nada. I never pay attention to the guru. Guy's an idiot. But there might be hope for your team.

On a somewhat related note, as I predicted last week, the Broncos are working out Tatum Bell. His history with the team should make it easier for him to pick up the system than other possible candidates whoever they might be. I would keep an eye on this situation if you're desperate for RB depth.

quote:Good for you, Dawg. I can't believe you're in playoffs already, but I also know ours are around the corner. After a big week this week, I slipped right into a tie for second place. My team was the only one last week to top 100 points. Even my bench outscored ten teams in the league.

Problem is that the second highest scorer from last week is my opponent this week, and I doubt I'm going to get the same performances this week out Peterson (@ T.B.), MJD (v. TEN), and Royal (@ ATL). I have Mewelde Moore (v. SD) and Ricky Williams (v. OAK) on my bench. I've also got WR questions, but thoughts about the running back match ups?

yeah not sure what that's all about either, I just saw that he's still day to day, I'm guessing if he can take the pain he'll prob play. I hope not though.

Yeah I was also thinking this too, but not sure if he'll even be ready by this weekend, might help me in the coming weeks.
and thanks again for giving me the kick in the arse last week to start Mewelde Moore instead of punk arse Jamal Charles. How fricking wrong was I about that dude?
