Indy murdered my survivor chances, my gambling winnings, and my optimism/self esteem in like the first 2 hours of the first NFL Sunday

Thanks Rivers, you fricking cheese dick sperm machine.

I went Baltimore. Felt they were the safest possible pick. In my mind they had returning players at key positions which meant the weird pre-season didn't hurt them as much as other teams. It may put me at a disadvantage down the road for picking them so early but hey, I get to pick week 2.

Absolutely. Week 1 is not the time to get cute. You have to go with a heavy chalk.

“Saving” teams never works

You are going to have to pick 16 correct winners no matter what, so at some point you are gonna have to take a chance or be a little different to survive no matter how you play it, so for the tougher decisions I’d rather push them off towards the end of the year when there’s way more information about the mediocre-bad teams

You don’t even need to pick 16 correctly. You just need to pick more than everyone else

At first gander, SF looks like the pick next week. My mind could certainly change, though.

You can tell I’ve never made it that far in survivor

But to be fair it’s because I always end up forgetting to make a pick in week 6 or something

Always happens to me in TD Pick ‘Em (just plain forgetting). I am always out on TD Survivor by week 4 or so. I had Buffalo this week and will likely take TEN next week

Same. Defenses are ahead of offenses early on typically...in a weird year I figured the Bill's would clamp down.

I had the Eagles and changed at the last minute to the Steelers.

I'm alive for one more day, hopefully the Giants don't take me out.

What on earth possessed you to do that

Word to the wise- NEVER pick an interdivisional NFC west game

Especially not one involving the cards. One way or the other it will frick you.
