yeah I thought about hitting that game, but it feels like one of the few trap games this week for sure

I never bet TD+ road favorites in the NFL. Good rule to live by in general...

What are your thoughts on the Pats (-5.5) @ Tenn?

Pass for me. Seahawks pick em is still my only NFL bet so far. Will post some plays Thursday.

Titans have a good chance of winning this game straight up IMO.
Laying the points with NE is a dumb square play.
Laying the points with the Saints is a smart square play.

The Titans are a really bad matchup for New England (like Baltimore is). Physical team with good fundamentals, strong running game, and a slow grass field. Kind of a poor man's NY Giants or Baltimore like I keep harping on.
There's plenty of better favorite bets IMO - including LSU, Saints, and Denver (all at home).
You're going to be pissed at 2:30 on Sunday when the Saints are up 34-10 on the Redskins for an easy cover and you're sweating out a frustrating 17-14 Patriots lead.

Be careful with NE. Their Oline looked like total shite preseason. I am most likely passing on the game out of sheer respect for the Patriots, but I lean heavily Tennessee.

New to TD, hopefully I can contribute a little as I enjoy betting quite a bit.
Seattle (-2 1/2) looks like my favorite play, got a unit on it and will probably lay some more.
Someone tell me why not to play Detroit (-7) vs. St. Louis @ Detroit.
80% chance of rain for the game tomorrow.. doubt I will touch it.

Fair point, (and I am the biggest Pats hater there is), but it's Belichik and Brady. If I trust anyone to get it done by more than 5.5 points, it's them.
I'm still not sold completely on Locker, especially without his #1 receiver (Britt suspended).
They (NE) have Gronk and Hernandez to work inside the hasmarks. Welker will be good as usual, and Brandon Lloyd is gonna have a big year. Even with the O-line problems, New England will still be able to move the ball with the intermediate passing game and all their weapons. It's not like Brady needs a long time to throw routes that take forever to develop 50 yards down the field.

I like Detroit at -7 but their secondary is banged up. Not sure if their top S or CB are going to play (have missed all preseason). Against Bradford that could be a little dicey. However the Lions D line is sick and will get a head start at home with crowd noise so it should be okay.
I still like the Saints way better. Underrated defense that's going to be much improved over last year, rookie QB making his first start, and the best offense in the NFL. Saints are kind of my favorite pick in the past 2 months.

I'm thinking of putting 10* on Seattle. There is no way they can lose, is there?
Of course there is no way a 7-9 team can lose on the road with a rookie 3rd round draft pick starting at QB.
Man i wish i was a bookie sometimes

Maybe but there's just something about high powered offenses going into Tennessee and struggling. It's a weird stadium - really "open feeling" and I wonder if it's windier than other stadiums?
Think of all the battles Peyton's Colts had there with inferior Titans teams. Think of how the Saints survived by the skin of their teeth last season and had their lowest point output of the year in Tennessee.

I kind of like AZ in that game with a gun to my head. Crazy things happen in that stadium. Really underrated home crowd. Skelton had a rough preseason but remember this same team finished like 5-2 and beat some damn good teams late last year.
Their defense and specials teams are both top 10 honest to god.

Peyton has always had issues with outside stadiums and the last couple years, the Saints have had issues on the road against bad/average teams.
Not saying you aren't right, or you're points aren't valid, but I still think Brady can pull it out.
