They were still wearing them when I started watching as a kid but I can't remember a single player. It was right before they drafted Drew Bledsoe and got the new logo and everything.

The guys I named were AFL. Nance was a big fullback and led the AFL in rushing a couple times. Once with Denver, maybe.
You don't remember Steve Grogan QB? Think Bledsoe took his place.
There were some studs but not many good teams over the years. John Hannah is one of the 5 best OL of all time. Russ Francis was an uber talented TE. LB Andre Tippett became a karate black belt and used chops when he rushed the passer IFRC.
Oh, and does a kid named Darryl Stingley ring a bell?

Grogan retired after the ‘90 season. Bledsoe was drafted in ‘93 and replaced the awe inspiring QB quartet of Hugh Millen, Scott Zolak, Jeff Carlson, and Tom Hudson.
