I think it was Soccer by Ives who posted this morning, that Sepp Blatter has already said there will be NO officiating changes in South Africa. That means there will be NO extra officials, and NO "technology."
Is there any reasoning behind this? Did they not notice what happened in Paris? It makes no sense to me.

Don't think we'll get two African sides.

I would just like to say, giving England a seed is completely absurd. What have they won in the past five decades? They usually don't even have a good showing in the Euro or World Cups. As much as I loathe France, they completely deserve a seed over the English.

fwiw, their UEFA coefficient is #1

If UEFA is going to get 5 teams seeded, surely England should be among them. ESPECIALLY if they aren't going to allow France's playoff wins to count. Plus, England thrashed everybody in their qualifying group

South Africa and Algeria will not be in the same group. When the African teams are drawn in Pot 3, Group A will be off-limits.

I think this team is going to surprise us in South Africa no matter what. Bring on Brazil, France and Ghana.

The caveat being that the surprise would be a single win in the group stage.

We got a sticky! We're moving up in the world. I can't wait to see what group of death we're drawn into. Sepp Blatter's going to attach a picture of his nuts to our group.
