Bent's been by far the best (and a great help in the Fantasy EPL game ), but he hasn't been getting much attention from Capello, while Heskey , Defoe, and Carlton Cole have gotten caps.

Owen is obviously one of the English forwards of all-time, but he's fallen off a bit. I don't know when he last played a meaningful game for England, but he hasn't scored a goal for them in over 2 years. I suppose we could even add Agbonlahor as a fringe striker.

If they only carry four forwards, it should be:

Rooney, Bent, Defoe, Crouch

Keep Big Ugly for some size in the late-game set-piece battle.

If you carry a fifth, make it C. Cole

I just don't see Davies being healthy enough to be in match shape by next June. And if we need another speed option, who would it be? I don't know if I can take any more Eddie Johnson.
