My observation is that the Cavs look like they're struggling. Looks like they have some PG issues. If only some team had a competent PG they could trade for. Perhaps they could even dump some bad contracts on some team. I bet they could find someone to do that for that Nets pick.

ETA:

My other observation is that Dragan Bender is going to be so good and lots of people are going to have to take a large L.

Clippers have looked like a better team without CP3...

Blake being the QB + adding a tenacious Beverly have made them better than most predicted.

Two of those teams probably aren’t noteworthy enough to be mentioned with the other three.

All were picked to be playoff teams.

Would be higher if not for Al Horford. Held him to his only game under 30 this season.

That's funny. I'm listening to the Zach Lowe podcast from last week with Ben Falk, and Lowe was already certain that Bender would never be a really good player. And they talked about data, even in small amounts of playing time and comparables for Bender, and those guys almost never amount to much.

The Pels O/U was anywhere from 39-41. They’re on pace for 41 wins (yes I know it’s early).

Bender is 7'0" and shooting .318% from the floor in 20mpg. What am I missing here. Are we thinking maybe a 3pt specialist or something

Pels are .500. Who didn't see that coming. Actually that's better than a lot of people thought, after the sky was falling game 1.

I've watched every game so far, and Bender is already capable of giving you elite defensive sequences. The question will be if he develops properly on the offensive end.

My observation is the Nuggets have been good identifying talent in drafting, but that's about it. Malone is an awful coach and Connelly has been terrible at addressing needs. Trading the rights for Donovan Mitchell for Lyles and Lydon screamed "let's make a trade for the sake of making trades". Let Jameer Nelson go for no reason and now he's helping a bubble playoff team that you are fighting for position with. Same with letting Finch go. Heck, maybe you can send the Pels Chandler and Faried for Cunningham and Asik while you're at it.

I love watching them just to see Jokic and Harris, but by gawsh I would be pissed to be a Nuggets fan seeing them squander away a stockpile of young talent.

2 things, Aaron Gordon is quickly improving his Offensive game (Orlando could compete for the final spot in the East) and Oladipo is thriving in his new change of scenery, that deal so far has worked out for both teams

Oh, and OKC/Minnesota are headed toward a 1st round 4-5 seed 7 game brawl
