A bunch of friends and I went to watch the game, but before it 2 of us were like there is way to much $ on the table, watch the refs over take this game. Sure as shite the refs started their montra against gsw as soon a the bball was tipped.
Is this what you all saw? Now Cleve made ther shots, but did that 1st qt fiasco just help clev to keep going and frustrate gs?

Refs called a T on a Cleveland player on the bench who was jawing with KD

No. The refs were simply all kinds of incompetent.

I read yesterday that the NBA would lose out on $22 million if the Warriors would have swept. Of course it was rigged.

Can someone explain to me how the NBA would lose money if GS lost?

To bad such a great offensive performance was marred by a horrible game from the refs. I thought the first quarter officiating was slanted but not really after. Cavs win that either way. They played great. The refs were a joke overall.

The refs helped the Cavs get a huge lead. Then they slowly gave the Warriors calls to make the stats look fair at the end of the game. Its the oldest trick in the book.

Let the hate flow through you.

Did the NBA also let the Cavs play offense with a smaller ball, so they could set the NBA finals 3s record?

Clearly rigged when GS shot more FTs
Posted on 6/10/17 at 7:42 am to highbooost
I think you are right. The NBA put a magnet in the ball and through the net and everytime the Cavs shot a three or Kyrie drove to the basket they would turn it on so that the ball goes through the hoop. Totally rigged.

The NBA wouldn't lose a penny.
The Warriors make about $12.1MM per playoff home game, so that's at stake, but the NBA TV contracts are set in stone regardless of series length.
Pretty incredible that the NBA allowed the Warriors to go 12-0 and Cleveland to go 12-1, only to rig Game 4 of the Finals. All those missed Game 5s and 7s only to give GS 5 more FTs than Cleveland last night.

It's amazing every series doesn't go 7 games. All that money at stake.

If they were going to rig the series, surely they would rig it before GS jumped out to a 3-0 lead, right?

It is such a ridiculous proposition. GS got 5 more FTs, the NBA makes no more money regardless of series length, and the NBA didn't let any previous series go back to GS.
